Certificate EACCME®/UEMS credits
The 62nd ERA Congress, Vienna and virtual, Austria 04/06/2025 – 07/06/2025, has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 20.0 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found at https://edhub.ama-assn.org/pages/applications.
Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
How to claim your EACCME®/UEMS credit certificates
EACCME®/UEMS credit certificates, based on the live attendance during the congress days (June 4-7), can be downloaded directly from My ERA starting from June 7, 2025, until July 2, 2025.
Participants must complete the feedback questionnaire by July 2, 2025, to download their EACCME®/UEMS credit certificates.
After July 2, 2025 participants who haven’t filled in the questionnaire will not be able to claim their EACCME®/UEMS credit certificate. Kindly note that the Congress webcasts are not accredited.
Certificate of attendance
Starting from June 7, 2025, at 12:30 PM CEST, participants will be able to download their certificates (attendance and European CME credits) based on their actual attendance, which will be monitored via the badge scanning system/virtual tracking, directly from their My ERA, in the “My Congress” section till July 2, 2025.

Road to Glasgow 2026
The 63rd ERA Congress will take place on June 3-6, 2026, both virtual and live in Glasgow.
Insurance and Liability Disclaimer
ERA and its partners will not be liable for any loss, theft, injury or damage to property and/or persons, whatever the cause may be. It is recommended that participants obtain adequate cover for insurance. ERA and its partners shall not be held responsible for any personal injuries, poisoning, food intoxication or loss of/damage to private property belonging to the participants (including but not limited to damages to laptops or any other electronic devices).
Changes, postponement or cancellation
ERA and its partners are entitled to make changes to the ERA Congress, such as to alter the programme or the speakers, to postpone (modify the dates), to move to a different venue, to curtail the duration or to cancel the event. In the event of complete or partial postponement or curtailment, the registration is regarded as valid for a possible new date and new duration for the Congress.
If, for any reason outside ERA’s (and its partners) control (in particular force majeure and including but not limited to a pandemic including COVID-19, acts of terrorism, strike, public manifestations, extreme weather conditions and/or industrial action), the ERA Congress be cancelled, registrations by individuals will be reimbursed in full.
In any of the above mentioned cases, ERA and its partners shall not be held responsible for any costs, damages or expenses incurred by the participants. For example, no compensation will be due for costs related to travel arrangements or accommodation.
All participants are urged to take personal travel insurance.
